The Engine & Teardown Technician is responsible for properly removing all high-quality auto parts and usable core parts in a safe, efficient, and proper manner from drivetrain coming out of the dismantle department. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who must work in a fast-paced environment, hardworking, dedicated team member who can successfully meet production quota. Excelling at this position you must be able to multitask, communicate well with others, have hands-on automotive repair experience with a knowledge of automobiles.

Starting salary at 18$/h (based on experience) + Great Benefits

What are your responsibilities as a Drain Technician?
 

  • Dismantle / breakdown drivetrain within the suggested time constraints in a safety conscious manner,
  • Label and tag parts to be placed into stock,
  • Check the quality and product type of the parts,
  • Must own and maintain all the tools necessary, and
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Must own complete set of tools as needed to carry out duties,
  • Must possess the ability to follow instructions and to accept constructive feedback,
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with customers, co-workers, and the public,
  • Must be a self-motivated, hard-working, and dependable person,
  • Must be a safety conscious person, and
  • Must possess the ability to be adaptable and willing to perform duties beyond normal duties.


Job Requirements

Essential Physical Demands: Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently. Subject to intense physical labor and repetitive lifting. Must be able to lift at least 75lbs. Must be able to work outside in various types of weather. Works with hydraulic oils, motor oils, antifreeze, and diesel fuels.

Working Conditions: Employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to extreme cold & extreme heat. The noise level is moderately loud.
